RCD Music Ltd. is a 100% Canadian owned and controlled private company involved in the business of music and entertainment. Since its inception in 1996, RCD Music has worked with more than 100 Artists, produced more than 500 events at venues across Canada, licensed music for foreign distribution, placed music in film and television shows and developed corporate marketing programs that bring Bands and Brands together. Demo Policy: The RCD Music Store is an eclectic boutique shop where we plan on showcasing the best of the Rock, Rock n Roll, Garage, Alternative, Roots and Singer-Songwriter Artists that cross our path. Running a successful indie label is a daunting task. Since 1996 we have worked with hundreds of amazing artists in many different ways. From IndieBlast events to Canadian Music Week, NxNE, SxSW, Popkomm and Red Gorilla Showcases, to shows with the likes of Alice Cooper, KISS, Bon Jovi, and many, more it has been a fantastic experience.
As the music world has undergone drastic change, so has our life. As a result, we have decided to put RCD Music on the backburner while we focus on other business opportunities.
For me this means focusing on continuing to build an entertainment insurance practice and maintaining relationships with the music industry folks I was fortunate to meet during 15 years in the biz.
You will certainly see me at Canadian Music Week, SxSW, NxNE and IndieWeek providing assistance and support to Artists, Managers, Labels, Promoters, Studios and related parties to help them maximize their opportunities and minimize their risks
We will also continue to make RCD Music catalogue available for licensing and distribution in physical or digital form.
